Joe Murphy named one of National Law Journal’s Governance Risk and Compliance Trailblazers & Pioneers in 2014
This year the publishing arm of The National Law Journal is recognizing the inaugural list of people who have truly “moved the needle” in facilitating the changing ways that law firms conduct business towards governance, risk and compliance. For almost 40 year, Joe Murphy has focused on how to prevent and detect misconduct within organizations, starting in 1976 when he was in-house counsel at Bell of Pennsylvania, focusing on antitrust and antitrust compliance.

2014 RAND Symposium: “Transforming Compliance: Emerging Paradigms for Boards, Management, Compliance Officers and Government” (Boehme Co-Chair)
The 2014 RAND Symposium was held on May 28 in Washington D.C., featuring four invited RAND white papers, and two dozen senior-level thought leaders from the board, industry, compliance, government, academic and nonprofit communities. Kathleen Grilli, General Counsel to the U.S. Sentencing Commission, provided keynote remarks. The formal report of the Symposium proceedings, including recommendations, was published in a written report in late summer and formally launched at the SCCE CEI in Chicago on September 15, by a “Hot Off the Presses” panel including RAND Center Director Michael Greenberg and two invited RAND whitepaper authors, Scott Killingsworth and Michael Volkov, who shared their insights with participants.shadowrocket苹果下载
